An American Red Cross Blood Drive in Stanford's memory
was held 28 April 2007. The goal was to collect 107 units
of blood. 90 potential donors came and 72 units were collected.
There are times when they have
drives at large companies and only collect 50 units out of
a pool of 3500 employees. So, this was a good collection.
Many of Stanford's friends came. About 10 new "First Time Donors"
signed up. We had the
